The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as key figures in the powerful family could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Planners tables.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
